Our gelato is so good, we want to add it to everything—including drinks! This refreshing dessert is not only super duper easy to make and charmingly retro. It also allows for a multitude of scrumptious combos! Classic floats are usually prepared with luscious vanilla ice cream, but we’re here to tell you that there’s a world of options out there. For example, darker sodas like Brio chinotto go swimmingly with our chocolate hazelnut gelato. For citrusy pops, we suggest you go with a scoop of our Sicilian cannoli flavour. Oh and we bet cream soda would be wonderful with our cherry and dark chocolate gelato. These are only a few all-star duos to get you started, but we’re afraid you’ll have to eat floats all summer long to figure out which combo you like best…

  1. Pour the sodas into two large, tall glasses. Place the glasses in the refrigerator for about 5 minutes.
  2. Remove the glasses from the refrigerator and carefully add a scoop of gelato into each.
  3. Depending on the chosen flavour, garnish with an orange slice, cherries, or chocolate shavings. Serve immediately with a spoon or a straw.
